Gratitude

This poem is to explore the idea of Gratitude. I hope you enjoy it.

Across seas, through distance and space

Like a lighthouse on a distant shore

Lifting burdens with love and grace

Your kindness shines from afar

Each coin you sent, each prayer you said

Has paved our path and may rest fear

Notebooks and lessons, tests and trials

You stood with us across the miles

Guiding us through this experience in sight

Now you are here, our hands of grace

Welcome beloved angel guardians

Our future is bright and firm

A love so bright and pure, but bright.
